Rishi Kapoor Hospitalized In Delhi; Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt Miss Armaan Jain’s Mehendi To Be With The Family

Raj Kapoor’s grandson Armaan Jain is all set to tie the nuptial knot with his childhood friend and fiancé Anissa Malhotra. The family has begun pre-wedding preparations and the couple hosted their star-studded mehendi ceremony on Saturday, with some of the biggest celebrities such as Anil Ambani, Tina Ambani, Ritesh Sidhwani, Karisma Kapoor, Tara Sutaria and Shweta Bachchan Nanda in attendance. However, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor were nowhere to be seen.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the veteran actor has been admitted to a hospital in New Delhi. It further states that his son and actor Ranbir Kapoor is headed to the capital with girlfriend Alia Bhatt to be by his father’s side. The love birds were supposed to perform at Armaan and Anissa’s mehendi ceremony but flew down to New Delhi to be with the family. Sources also suggest that Alia wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi to accompany her boyfriend.

Rishi Kapoor returned to India after spending 11 months and 11 days in US for his cancer treatment. While wife Neetu stayed by his side every minute, Ranbir too visited him often with Alia.
