Rishi Kapoor Prayer Meet: Ranbir Arrives With Alia Bhatt; Riddhima Pays Tribute To The Late Actor

On 30^th April 2020, Bollywood superstar Rishi Kapoor breathed his last at H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai after battling with leukemia for two years like a true warrior. The Hindi film industry lost one of its finest actors and the entire nation was left heartbroken. The actor’s last rites were performed at Chandanwadi Crematorium on the same day and the funeral was attended by family members and close friends. On 12^th of May, the Kapoor family held a 13^th day prayer meet at their Bandra home.

While Ranbir Kapoor arrived with his girlfriend Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor accompanied her father Randhir and mother Babita. Shweta Bachchan, Navya Naveli, Armaan Jain, Aadar Jain, Reema Jain and Anissa Malhotra were also present at the prayer meet to pay their respect. Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who travelled from Delhi to Mumbai amid the coronavirus lockdown, took to her social media handle to pay a heartfelt tribute to her father. In one of her posts, she can be seen standing next to the actor’s portrait, whereas in another picture she is sitting next to Ranbir. Along with the photograph, Riddhima penned the caption: “Your legacy will live on forever ... We love you.”

The news of Rishi’s sudden demise came as a shock to his fans. While he may be gone, the actor will continue to remain in our hearts forever. We miss you, Chintu ji.
