Rishi Kapoor Seen Doing Yoga In His Last Video Shared By Neetu Kapoor From Home, Days Before The Lockdown; Watch

Rishi Kapoor is gone and all that remains is his rich legacy of films and countless memories. The actor succumbed to cancer at the age of 67 after putting up a brave fight against the disease for the past two years. His family is divested and so are millions of his fans who didn’t get an opportunity to say goodbye to the beloved veteran star.

The actor was declared cancer free in 2019 and was using the time off from films recuperating. The actor throughout maintained that he doesn’t lose will and his fans were constantly being updated about his health by the family through social media. The actor’s wife Neetu Kapoor ensured she posted as many updates on his health on her Instagram as she could to reassure fans that the actor is doing well.

Her last posted showed Rishi Kapoor at home in Mumbai practicing yoga at home with his instructor telling him what to do on the flat screen via video conferencing. The actor was zealously following him,  performing the asanas in his living room while Neetu Kapoor shot the video at the back of the room. The video is from March 20 right before the lockdown was imposed.

Rishi made his last tweet on April 2 wherein he appealed to the citizens not to beat up doctors and aid in the nation’s fight against the coronavirus.

Bollywood mourns the loss of the star whose absence we will forever feel. Rishi Kapoor was cremated by his family this evening in Mumbai but his daughter Ridhima was unable to attend his last rites due to the travel restriction imposed during lockdown.
