Rishi Kapoor’s Demise: Neetu Kapoor Pens A Heartfelt Post Thanking Ambanis For Their Love And Support

One of the most popular and adored superstars of the Hindi film industry, Rishi Kapoor breathed his last on 30^th April 2020 at H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai, after a 2 year long battle with leukemia. The nation was not only shocked by the news but also heartbroken with his sudden demise. The actor’s last rites were performed at Mumbai's Chandanwadi crematorium and the funeral was attended by family members and close friends such as Alia Bhatt, Abhishek Bachchan and Anil Ambani.

Today, Rishi’s wife Neetu Kapoor took to her social media handle to thank the Ambani family for being their guardian angels for the past 2 years, which were full of ups and downs. Along with a happy photograph featuring Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Rishi and herself, the actress penned a heartfelt caption which read: “For us, as a family, the last two years have been a long journey. There were good days, there were a couple of bad days too.. needless to say it was full of high emotion. But it’s a journey we would not have been been able to complete without the immeasurable love and support of the Ambani family.”

A prayer meet for Chintu ji was held on 3^rd May at his Mumbai residence. While he may be gone, the superstar will continue to live on in our hearts forever.
