Rishi Kapoor’s Demise: Shah Rukh Khan Reveals He Became A Star In His Head When The Actor Complimented Him, Says Will Miss His Gentle Pat

Rishi Kapoor had been a part of the Hindi film industry for over 45 years. He had started out as a child artist and made his debut as an adult in Bobby. In so many years, his aura and charisma never faded away and he remained the source of inspiration for many actors who the industry after him. One such person who gained immense confidence and boost early in his career because of Rishi Kapoor is today’s superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Penning a memoriam for the late actor, SRK wrote how he had been insecure and afraid he had been. He remembered the first day of his shoot with Kapoor and how he waited for SRK to finish his scene even he was a much senior actor. After pack up, Rishi Kapoor had complimented him by saying, “Yaar tujhme energy bohot hai.” SRK writes on and says, “That day in my head I became an actor!” He also said he will miss him for his ‘gentle pat on my head ‘.
