Rishi Kapoor’s Last Rites: Daughter Riddhima Gets Permission To Fly Via Private Jet, Funeral Begins At 4PM

Rishi Kapoor’s daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Shani has left no stones unturned to be with her father during his last journey. Riddhima had been trying to get a permit to go to Mumbai since Wednesday, when she had heard that her father isn’t keeping well. While she got a permission today, it was only for road travel. She had been trying to get permit of air travel too and the permission has finally been granted.

According to a report in News18, she had acquired permission to fly from Delhi to Mumbai in a private jet . She seems to have already left for Mumbai too, where she will join the rest of her family for the last rites of actor Rishi Kapoor. Earlier, it was thought that she might not be able to make it to Mumbai due to the nationwide lockdown. However, she battled all odds and even got the permission to fly after getting the permission to travel by road.

Rishi Kapoor’s last rites will begin shortly at around 4-4:30 pm. It seems like the family is now waiting for Riddhima to arrive. Rishi Kapoor’s last rites would take place at Crematorium in Kalbadevi, Mumbai. By now, Alia Bhatt, Armaan Jain, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have arrived at the hospital. The family is already there.
