Robert Pattinson being paid mere Rs. 22 crores to play Batman; see Chris Hemsworth's paycheque for Thor: Love and Thunder

Robert Pattinson is the new caped crusader of Gotham city and the 2022 flick is something we are all waiting for. The film will show Pattinson as the young Bruce Wayne in this Matt Reeves directorial which went on floors last year during the pandemic. While the popular DCEU character he is all set play is richer than god, according to reports Robert Pattinson’s salary is pretty basic in comparison.

Popular for films like the Twilight Saga and playing Cedric Digory in the Harry Potter franchise, Pattinson surely will hit a new high in his career as Batman. But before that happens a Variety report suggests that the actor for now is being paid $3 million which is (Rs. 22.33 crores INR approx.) for being the new dark knight.

The same report also reveals Chris Hemsworth’s exorbitant paycheque for Thor: Love and Thunder in which he will appear once again as the God of thunder in the MCU. The star who was practically unknown before he lifted Thor’s hammer was paid a mere $150,000 (Rs. 1. 12 crores INR approx.) for his first Thor film. After playing the character in eight films the Australian star will take home a humongous cheque of $20 million (Rs. 149 crores INR approx.) for reprising his role.

Well, if Chris Hemsworth example is something to go by, it will be raining millions of dollars on Robert Pattinson as he goes further with the franchise. While Robert’s film is lined up for release on 4 March 2022, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor will hit the screens on 6 May 2022.
