Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani: Manish Malhotra is giving Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan a glamorous makeover for KJo’s film

The shoot of Karan Johar’s much awaited directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani went on floors in August this year. Much to our delight, the filmmaker had taken to his social media handle to share a glimpse from the same. In the clip, fans got a brief yet intriguing sneak peek of lead stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh’s characters. While Ranveer looked handsome in an animal print shirt, Alia donned a gorgeous saree, bindi and nose pin.

Well, according to the latest report of Bollywood Hungama, Alia and Ranveer’s co-stars Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan are getting a makeover by celebrity designer Manish Malhotra. A source revealed, “Who says women after a certain age cannot be glamorous? Gayatri Devi and Sharmila Tagore are prime examples of ultimate autumnal glamour. Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan have great potential for being glammed up and we are going to make full use of their towering personalities to dress them up as divas.”

The source further reported that the veteran actresses are unable to recognize themselves in the mirror when they dress up in the glamorous, gorgeous outfits designed by Malhotra. Well, this has definitely piqued our interest. Also starring Dharmendra Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, a ‘family dramedy’, will hit theatres next year.
