Rohit Shetty Shares A Sneak Peek Of A Bike Stunt From Sooryavanshi, Dedicates It To Veeru Devgan

When it comes to cool stunts in Bollywood films, very few people can do Rohit Shetty can do with them. Born to a father who worked as a stunt director in the Hindi film industry for years, Rohit has always had a special connection to stunts and often tries out the stunts in his films personally before filming them.

He did exactly that in Bangkok and shared a sneak peek of a bike stunt from the Akshay Kumar starrer as he was doing a trial. However, Rohit, who has been close to the Devgan family dedicated the stunt to the recently deceased Veeru Devgan who was like a father to him. He wrote, “It takes real fathers to transform their boys into heroes. Started doing stunts at the age of 16, still going strong at 45 And I know one man who will always be proud of me in Heaven My Guru, My Father - Veeru Devgan. Two most important lessons he taught me:

1. Be honest with your work and work will be honest with you.

2. Before performing any stunt the most important thing is - SAFETY FIRST.

Rohit has started the filming of Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar which is all set to hit the screens later this year. The film has already generated a lot of buzz due to the massive success of his previous films in the cop universe, especially Simmba, and also because it has paired Akshay Kumar opposite Katrina Kaif after a break of almost a decade.
