    Horror has always been a tough genre to crack for Bollywood but with films like Bhool Bhulaiya and Stree where audience were fed scary scenes with a hint of comedy, we made some headway. Now, Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma starrer Roohi is in theatres to test how far we can push the envelope with horror comedies.

    While from the critics the movie has been getting some mixed reactions with some dubbing it to be a disaster to other finding it a satisfactory watch. Roohi is the story of a girl with an alternate personality Afzana who abducts brides ahead of their wedding night. Caught with a possessed Roohi in a forest are two guys who fall in love with her and how the story goes from there is something one can discover watching the film.

    With an ambitious goal of bringing back the audiences to theatres after a year long hiatus due to the pandemic makers of Roohi finally decided that they would be the first to release their film after the government gave theaters a green signal for 100% occupancy.
