Roohi: Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor & Varun Sharma Invite Us To Their ‘Bhootiya Shaadi’ On 11th March

When Janhvi Kapoor announced that she will be sharing the big screen with her favorite actor Rajkummar Rao, fans were over the moon with joy. Also starring the very talented Fukrey fame Varun Sharma, the much awaited horror comedy was initially titled Rooh-Afza. However, it was changed to Roohi Afza, later became Roohi Afzana and has finally been titled Roohi. Well, we have some great news for fans! The film, which was scheduled for a release in June 2020 but was pushed due to COVID-19, is finally hitting theatres next month.

Janhvi, Varun and Rajkummar decided to drive our Monday blues away with this special announcement. They took to their official social media handles to share that their film, which has finally been titled Roohi, will be releasing in theatres on 11^th March. In the short announcement clip, the three invited us to their ‘Bhootiya Shaadi’. While Janhvi wrote: “Iss Bhootiya Shaadi mein aapka swagat hai!”, Raj tweeted: “Dulhan ki tarah sajenge Theatres aur dulha le jaegi #Roohi!” The trailer of Roohi will be shared tomorrow.

The actors are dressed in wedding attires, which has increased our curiosity. Directed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films, Roohi follows the story of a ghost who abducts brides on their honeymoons. Janhvi will reportedly be seen in a double role in this horror comedy. Can’t wait!
