RRR: Ajay Devgn To Play A Freedom Fighter In Rajamouli's Next

Baahubali director S.Rajamouli's RRR: Rise Revolt Roar is one of those films that the audience is looking forward too with eagerness. While the film will have Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in the lead roles, the period drama will also have Bollywood stars like Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt. And now, more details about Ajay Devgn's character in the film are out.

Ajay Devgn will play a freedom fighter and the Guru to Ram Charan and Jr. NTR's characters in the film, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror. A source close to the film was quoted saying, "Ajay has shot for around 10 days in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad where Delhi from the 1990s was recreated. He appears in the flashback scenes." The source also added that his role would be an extended cameo and might remind the audiences of his portrayal of Bhagat Singh from The Legend Of Bhagat Singh.

Alia, in the meanwhile, has been perfecting her Telugu by taking regular lessons. The source added that she is yet to shoot and around 25% of the film is yet to be shot. If the shooting resumes soon and the post-production can also be completed, then the makers would release the film around April end next year, like they released Baahubali: The Conclusion.
