RRR: Alia Bhatt To Sing In The SS Rajamouli Film, To Shoot It In The November Schedule?

Alia Bhatt has not just wowed us with her acting chops but has also given us a glimpse of her singing ability by giving her voice to songs in Imtiaz Ali's Highway and in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. She also sang a version of Ikk Kudi from Udta Punjab. The actress has a soothing voice and it has been pretty long since we had heard her. But fans might be up for a treat soon.

If a recent report in Bollywood Hungama is to be believed, then the actress will sing for her South debut movie RRR. In fact, she would be shooting for a song and dance sequence during her November schedule. A source said, “Alia has one big song-and-dance number in RRR which she may sing in her own voice. The only problem is her accent in Tamil and Telugu, in which case she will sing for herself only in the Hindi version of RRR.”

Alia will play the character of Sita opposite Ram Charan's character. She would have a cameo appearance, but her role will be pivotal in making the audiences understand the ideological fight between the two leads. The film will also star Ajay Devgn, besides Jr. NTR in the lead.
