RRR: Alia Bhatt’s Extended Cameo Has Been Converted To A Full-Fledged Role In SS Rajamouli’s Period Drama?

The beautiful and uber talented Alia Bhatt has been one of the busiest bees of the Hindi film industry ever since the coronavirus lockdown lifted. The actress has almost completed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi and will soon finish the leftover shoot of Brahmastra. On top of all this, she has been busy gearing up for SS Rajamouli’s much anticipated period drama RRR. Last month it was reported that Alia has almost completed the filming and will soon head to Hyderabad to shoot two larger-than-life song sequences with co-star Ram Charan.

While the actress was initially roped in for an extended cameo, buzz suggests that it has now been converted into a full-fledged role by the makers. In a report shared by Spotboye, a source was quoted saying, “Alia now has much more to do in RRR than was originally planned. She shot a part of her role with Rajamouli last month. She returns again to Hyderabad later this month after her shooting for Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi wraps up.”

In an earlier interview, the filmmaker had opened up about Alia’s role in RRR and had stated that he needed an actress who can stand her ground between the very talented N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Charan. Rajamouli had further revealed that Alia’s character can be innocent, vulnerable yet be extremely resilient. Well, her look as Sita was released a while ago on her birthday and it left fans super excited. We are all looking forward to see the beauty shine on the big screen in RRR on 13^th October this year.
