RRR: Alia's Role In The S.S.Rajamouli Film To Be Extended? Here's What We Know

Alia Bhatt is all set to make her pan-India debut with S.S. Rajamouli's upcoming film, RRR. She would be essaying the role of Sita opposite Ram Charan's Sitarama Raju. A lot of rumours had been heard about her character and in between, it was even said that the actress might be dropped from the project! Well, with the poster of her character, we must say that Alia looks impressive and now, reports suggest that her role in the film might be extended.

According to a report in Spotboye, the actress is shooting for more parts that she had initially signed up for. A source was quoted saying, “There’s a world of difference between what Alia was signed up for, and what she’s doing now.” Explaining the reason for it, the source claimed that it is to add more Pan-India appeal to the film with her and Ajay Devgn's character. He said, “Unlike Baahubali which had a universal resonance to it, RRR is far more regional in tone. Ajay Devgan and Alia Bhatt are expected to give it a pan-India appeal.”

Alia Bhatt had been learning Telugu to be able to speak her lines in the film fluently. She has been working hard towards the film despite knowing that she would only do a cameo in this one. Reports had also been doing the rounds that she might be singing a song for the Hindi version of the film. Well, we hope that the film gets to release on its scheduled date, i.e, Dusshera.
