Rubina Dilaik has earned much acclaim for her role as a transgender woman in the popular show Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. She has long been a vocal supporter of the transgender community, and to commemorate Pride Month, she's sharing the iconic dress in which she stole the nation's hearts and was pronounced the winner of the latest season of Bigg Boss, along with other select pieces in which she has cherished memories - including a piece worn in her music video Marjaneya, and elegant gowns she wore at the Bigg Boss house.

"We have a long way to go towards making the transgender community feel more a part of mainstream society," says Rubina. "So I'm always looking to find ways to draw attention to this issue and mobilise resources for them." The coveted gown and other pieces from The Rubina Dilaik Collection will be on sale through preloved fashion platform Dolce Vee and proceeds will support Color Positive, an NGO that takes a holistic approach to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.

Color Positive Founder Savio Mascarenhas explains, "As a society, we owe the LGBTQIA+ individuals an equal playing field, but instead we see them struggle for basic dignity. Having Rubina as a partner in this cause is of great help in our efforts to integrate them more into mainstream society."

Dolce Vee Founder Komal Hiranandani adds, "Rubina has been a stalwart supporter of this cause, and we have great admiration for her perseverance to address this deep-seated issue. We're immensely grateful for her sharing such valued personal memorabilia is support of the Transgender community."

This initiative augments Rubina's earlier fundraisers and awareness campaigns for the trasngender community. "Until we get to a point where we don't need a special month to commemorate the LGBTQIA+ community, our efforts will not stop!," promises Rubina, signing off.
