Sadak 2 To Resume Shoot In The First Week Of July, Mukesh Bhatt Clears The Air On Film's OTT Release

Slowly but steadily actors are getting back on sets as Bollywood resumes work on pending projects. Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapoor Starrer Sadak 2 also acquired permission to resume shoot and the film will reportedly go on begin work in July.

Mahesh Bhatt will also be directing the sequel of this Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt starrer 1991 hit. The original stars will also be reprising their roles in the film, and all the four members of the cast were to shoot a song in Ooty together which no longer seems plausible and therefore it will be shot on a set in Mumbai. A Bollywood Hungama report claims that the shoot will resume in July first week.

The filmmaker’s brother Mukesh Bhatt in a chat with Mid-Day also confirmed the same, “We got the go-ahead from Film City yesterday. So, we are putting things in order and will soon determine the studio we can shoot in. We will have to build a small set for the song.”

He also spoke about the reports doing the rounds that Mahesh Bhatt is contemplating an OTT release for the film and said, “How can one plan an OTT or theatrical release when the film is not even ready? Once the shoot is complete, we will begin post-production. We will cross each hurdle as and when it comes.”

Like Sadak 2 many other filmmakers have also called off outdoor shoots and plan to wrap up projects in Mumbai itself.
