Sahoo: Did Prabhas Let Go Of His Fees For The Film?

There is big money riding on Prabhas right now, post the super success of his last film, Baahubali. The film made him a global star and his credibility went notches up. And now that fans and cinema lovers have known that the actor has given more than two years for his upcoming project, Saaho, that will hit the thatres on August 30^th, no one can keep calm. The stakes on the film is very high and almost 70 crores were spent for just an 8-minute long action sequence!

Well, the budget of the film had already gone way too high and Prabhas apparently realised that he can’t charge his regular fees for the project. Therefore, if a report by a leading daily is to be believed, the actor has let go off his regular fee and opted to take a pecentage of profits from the film. He will also be the first Tollywood actor to share profit from a film, instead of charging a regular fee.

It is also beinhg said that he will take home somewhere between 50-60% of the profits from the film.

In Bollywood, profit sharing is a more common practice and stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar generally share the profit from their films instaed of charging a fixed amount.
