Saif Ali Khan reveals Taimur liked Bhoot Police; actor is now looking forward to discussions for sequel

Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor blew fans away as tantric brothers in their recently released film Bhoot Police. Also starring Yami Gautam, Jacqueline Fernandez, Javed Jaffrey and late actor Amit Mistry, the horror comedy followed the story of two ghost busters-- Arjun aka Chiraunji, who believes that his only aim in life is to protect humans, and Vibhooti, played by Saif, who feels that this is just a way to fool superstitious customers and make money. Well, fans are now eagerly waiting for news about the sequel as Bhoot Police was planned as a franchise.

In a chat with Pinkvilla, Saif was quoted saying, “I am looking forward to some meetings with the production house to find out the future they are seeing in the Bhoot Police franchise and the direction they are looking to take it in. There’s a lot of potential. One can send these guys on any kind of adventure with all kinds of supernatural crazy things happening around.” He further shared, “If we can nail the kid friendly space of horror comedy, (it would be amazing). I have got a small son and I am more conscious in getting that genre right. He (Taimur) liked the film too.”

When asked about plans for Race 4, the actor stated that he has stopped thinking about these things and has not received any offer yet. He added that Ramesh Taurani, who has also backed Bhoot Police, is the best person to shed light on this topic. Meanwhile, Saif has an exciting line up of much awaited projects, which includes Bunty Aur Babli 2, co-starring Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh, and Om Raut’s Adipurush alongside Prabhas and Kriti Sanon.
