Saif Ali Khan To Stop Promoting Laal Kaptaan Due To A Tiff WIth The Censor Board

Saif Ali Khan’s next Laal Kaptaan is up for release. The film is based on Naga Sadhus and it is about the vengeance that one of the Naga Sadhus is out to take! The film also stars actress Zoya Hussain.

Khan who was busy promoting the film is now no more inclined towards doing it. The film is releasing this Friday, October 18^th but Saif is in no mood to promote the film. A Bollywood Bubble report states the reason behind this is the censor board’s drama towards the film. The report quotes a source close to the actor as saying, “The trailer has not been able to be attached to any film in theatres because the Censors claimed that this is not how Naga sadhus behave. So, Saif has been upset with the constant change in plans and the delays. He did a few interviews and told them he won’t be available anymore.”

Instead of promoting Laal Kaptaan, Saif has already preponed the shoot of Ali Abbas Zafar’s web series Tandav which is a political drama. In it, Saif plays the role of a politician with a lot of grey shades to his character.
