Saif Ali Khan’s New Poster As UdayBhan From Tanhaji Is Giving Us Major Jon Snow Vibes

Ajay Devgn is all pumped up for her upcoming historical film Tanahji: The Unsung Hero and his social media game is totally on point as far as promotions are concerned. 

Ajay recently shared a poster of Saif Ali Khan who would be essaying the role of Uday Bhan Singh, the main antagonist in the film. With the armor on his body, the sword in his hand and the look of a killer in his eyes, Saif looks absolutely seeped into the skin of the character.

However, if the poster feels a little familiar to you then you are not.  From the bluish-black background to the way Saif is holding the sword, it is all too similar to Jon Snow’s poster from Game of Thrones.  Even the costume looks pretty similar to that of the iconic black feathered cloak that actor Kit Harignton wore in the show. Based on the Battle of Sinhagad, the film will portray the fierce battle that ensued between the Maratha troops led by Tanhaji and the Rajput sardar Uday Bhan Singh who was in the Mughal army and in charge of guarding the fort of Kondhana. While Maratha troop won the fort, Tanhaji died fighting the war. Considered a lion for his bravery, the fort was renamed as Sinhagad or ‘lion’s fort’ in his memory.
