Saina: Badminton Player Saina Nehwal’s Biopic Starring Parineeti Chopra To Hit Theatres On 26th March

Parineeti Chopra has been extremely busy soaring high on the success of her latest release, The Girl on the Train. Her expressions and incredible performance have left the audience in awe and fans can’t wait to see her shine on-screen soon again. Well much to our delight, the beauty is all set to blow us away once again and that too very soon! Parineeti’s next film Saina, the much awaited biopic based on the life of badminton player Saina Nehwal, is heading for a big screen release.

The actress took to her official social media handle today to share the good news with her fans and followers. Along with the first poster of the film, in which the title ‘SAINA’ is written in the shape of a shuttlecock, Parineeti wrote: “SAINA! ? In cinemas 26th March ?.” This is a great news to start our week with. Earlier reports had suggested that the film may take a digital route like The Girl on the Train. But Parineeti and Saina’s fans will be over the moon with joy to watch the badminton player’s life story on the silver screen.

Directed by Amole Gupte and produced by Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-Series, the film also features the very talented Manav Kaul, as Saina’s coach Pullela Gopichand, and the phenomenal Paresh Rawal as her father Harvir Singh Nehwal.
