Sajid Nadiadwala And Hrithik Roshan To Unite For Super 30

Back in 1992, Sajid Nadiadwala made his debut as a producer with Zulm Ki Hukumat. Eight years later, Hrithik Roshan made a smashing entry as a superstar with Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai [2000]. Though over the years both the producer as well as the actor have delivered many successful films, somehow their paths never crossed when it came to making a film together. Now that it is happening with Super 30, one expects a quality product that brings together the perfect combination of mass and class elements that should keep the film in circulation.

"Both Sajid and Hrithik wanted to work with each other for the longest time. They were trying to find the best of the lot which brings them together," says a common associate, "Sajid has made over 25 films in last 27 years. In fact, he has two more films set to release in quick time, Chhichhore and Housefull 3. On the other hand, Hrithik is ultra selective about the films that he did. Ever since he made his debut 19 years back, he has acted in 22 odd films as a leading man. It was long due that they join hands and Super 30 turned out to be one such film."

Sajid, as well as Hrithik, have seen good success coming their way over the years. Moreover, both have also enjoyed some steady partnerships with others."Sajid has enjoyed a great personal and professional relationship with Akshay Kumar [Housefull franchise, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Heyy Babyy, Waqt Hamara Hai amongst others] and Salman Khan [Kick, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Judwaa, Jeet and more]. He has also been backing new talent and is responsible for bringing Tiger Shroff [Baaghi franchise, Heropanti] into Bollywood. Varun Dhawan [Judwaa 2, Dishoom] and Ranbir Kapoor [Tamasha, Anjaana Anjaani] are the other youngsters with whom Sajid has extensively worked," an observer comments.

As for Hrithik, right from the days of Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai to Kaabil with the Krrish franchise in between, he has enjoyed working with his father Rakesh Roshan. Meanwhile, he has also partnered with Yash Raj Films [Dhoom: 2, an upcoming film with Tiger Shroff] and Dharma Productions [Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Agneepath] and seen good successes coming his way.

"No wonder, with Hrithik Roshan and Sajid Nadiadwala coming together, it could well be the start of a new chapter in their professional association," a trade expert opines, "Both are known for delivering quality cinema with good commercial content in there for the mass as well as the class audience. They both hold a no-compromise approach when it comes to the final product that is delivered to the audiences. Super 30 is anyways special since it tells an extraordinary story of an ordinary man. What better way to kick-start the collaboration."With the film set to hit the screens on 12th July, the wait would soon be over to see what the two men are bringing on screen.
