Salman Khan And Farhan Akhtar Might Join Hands And It Is Making Us Nostalgic About The Salim-Javed Days In Bollywood

Maybe, it is finally happening! Farhan Akhtar and Salman Khan might soon collaborate on a project.  According to sources, Farhan visited Salman’s house and the two discussed a project at great lengths. Whether Salman would be acting or producing it is not clear, but two of them seemed excited about it.

Given their body of work, Farhan and Salman could not be more different from each other but what binds them are their fathers. Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan and Farhan Akhtar’s father Javed Akhtar wrote scripts for historical Bollywood films like Sholay, Deewar, Zanjeer, and many more blockbusters.

In fact, together they are probably the writing duo behind some of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema. It would, thus, be quite a nostalgic feeling to see their sons finally working together.

On the work front, Salman currently has Bharat, Dabangg 3, Inshallah and Kick 2 in the pipeline and Farhan will soon start shooting for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Toofan. Thus, even if the project happens it would not be happening anytime soon given how busy both Salman and Farhan are.

But if the project really happens then it will not only be exciting to see such a unique collaboration but also incredibly nostalgic for Bollywood fans to witness the second generation of Salim-Javed coming together.
