Salman Khan’s filmography is seeing several exciting additions these days. The superstar who seems to be on a film signing spree is said to be in advance talks with filmmaker Rajkumar Gupta for an action thriller. While there has been a strong buzz about Salman starring in Vijay Thalapathy’s Master remake soon, looks like the project will have to wait as the star has expressed interest in Rajkumar Gupta’s film which is apparently inspired by true events in Indian history.

According to a Pinkvilla report, Rajkumar Gupta has been discussing the project with Salman’s team for some time now and might soon begin pre-production work on the film in two months time if all goes well with the actor. The filmmaker is apparently also writing this original story.

The project has been described by a source as a thriller with the narrative also demanding bits of action. The filmmaker apparently needs a strong protagonist who can pull off action, drama, and thrills.

The report further claims that while Salman has expressed in remaking Master in Bollywood, he has asked the makers to re-write the screenplay for adaptation and the task might take a while. Salman, in the meantime, has Tiger 3 to wrap up post which he will take up Farhad Samji’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali which will be renamed as Bhaijaan. Post these projects, the actor apparently plans to fit in Rajkumar Gupta’s film in his schedule before moving onto the Master remake.
