After Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan seems to be ready to take on the Khiladi mantle in Bollywood. Well, the actor is not replacing Akshay in the series of Khiladi films but is rather hoping to remake the Telugu film starring Ravi Teja in Bollywood.

Reports are doing the rounds that Salman Khan bagged the remake rights for the Ravi Teja film which is yet to hit theatres. The trailer of the film released in April to a thunderous response and was loved by Salman and enticed him enough to want to remake the film. Reports suggest that the Bollywood superstar approached Khiladi director Ramesh Verma asking him to helm the Hindi version also.

Ravi Teja in the film will be seen in a double role and the makers of the film have confirmed that they will wait to release the film in theatres instead of taking the OTT route which has become a popular trend these days.

It has not been clarified whether Salman would star in the Hindi remake himself or if he would only be producing it. Salman who has starred in quite a few South Indian remakes in Bollywood was earlier on reported to be keen on remaking Thalapathy Vijay’s Master in Hindi too.
