Salman Khan Reveals Tere Bina Was Song He Sang For His Neighbour In Mumbai, Here's Why He Released It During Lockdown

After the soulful Pyaar Karona, Salman Khan is all set to release his next quarantine single titled Tere Bina. Also starring his Kick co-star Jacqueline Fernandez, the romantic track has been shot entirely at the actor’s Panvel farmhouse and beautifully features the picturesque location where Salman, his family and close friends have been residing since the last 2 months. Bhaijaan had initially whisked his family to the farmhouse for a weekend getaway but had to extend his stay because a nationwide lockdown was declared before they could travel back.

In a recent chat with TOI, Salman revealed why he decided to shoot and release Tere Bina amid the lockdown. He shared that when the family came to the farmhouse 7 weeks ago, they did not know that they would be under a lockdown. So in an attempt to keep themselves busy they decided to shoot these songs. He went on to add, “Back home in Bandra, we have a neighbour, Ajju (Ajay) Bhatia, who would keep asking me to sing for him. So far, I have sung four songs for him. Tere Bina is one of those. It wasn’t fitting into any of my films, so we decided to release it now.”

Sharing her experience of shooting at the farmhouse, Jacqueline admitted that she did not think they could pull it off as they are used to shooting songs on a large scale with grand production costs. However, at the farmhouse they were only a team of 3 people – Jacqueline, Salman and the DOP. But she added that it was a great experience and taught them to make the most of what they have. In fact, for the first time ever, the actress was checking lighting and moving props around.

The song will be releasing today at 12 pm. Are you excited to see Salman and Jacqueline create magic on the screens again?
