Salman Khan Talks About Radhe’s Song Dil De Diya Featuring Jacqueline Fernandez; Says ‘She Has Killed It’

Dil De Diya, the latest track from Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, has taken the internet by storm. Catchy, addictive and completely 'mazedaar', the song featuring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez, one of the most loved onscreen pairs, is creating ripples across platforms.

Director Prabhudeva and Salman instantly agreed that Dil De Diya was an apt track for this particular juncture in the film and knew that Jacqueline was the perfect fit. In a behind the scenes video from the song, Salman says, "Dil De Diya is very catchy song. We had this track with us and we had this situation in the film, so I took it to Prabhu sir and he loved it." Adding, "Jacqueline Fernandez has very gracefully done a song in Radhe. I appreciate the gesture. She has killed it in the song."

Talking about the track, says director Prabhu Deva, "Dil De Diya has a retro feel to it. Jacqueline literally gave her blood and sweat for this song." The song's unique dance steps are already a rage and choreographer Shabina Khan reveals that all it took was one simple brief. Shabina says, "It's not a normal choreographed song, Prabhu sir had just one line ki 'maza aana chahiye'. He wanted the choreography to be such that someone watches it and feels like dancing."

But the making of the blockbuster song was anything but easy! Jacqueline, who has everyone impressed with her grace, flexibility and dancing skills, also wowed the makers with her professionalism as she continued to push through despite several injuries. In this special behind the scenes video, Jacqueline reveals, "My knee was five times its size and this is just Day 2. Swelling, sprains, back ache, injuries but we just pushed through it, so fingers crossed."

The song has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya, and Shabbir Ahmed is the lyricist. Kamaal Khan & Payal Dev have vocalised the song, and Shabina Khan has choreographed it. Starring Salman in and as Radhe- Your Most Wanted Bhai along with Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles, the movie is presented by Salman Khan Films in association with ZEE Studios, produced By Salma, Sohail Khan and Reel Life Production Pvt. limited.

Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai will release in theatres, on ZEE's pay per view service ZeePlex on Zee5’s OTT platform and all leading DTH operators on Eid, May 13 2021.
