Salman Khan Thinks Katrina Kaif Should Win A National Award And We Are Like ‘Didn’t You Just Say You Don’t Believe In National Awards?’

Having mentored for her entire career, Salman Khan has always wished the best for Katrina Kaif. He has often gone on record to praise Katrina for her talents and professional ethics. However, this time Salman has even greater plans for Katrina as he thinks Katrina should win a National Award.

Recently, in an interview when quizzed about which film earned Katrina Kaif a Filmfare Best Actress nomination, Salman let out his frustration about Bollywood shows. He said, “What is being nominated? She deserves an award. And what are these awards? She deserves a National Award. So you put Katrina Kaif in the nominations and that will play everywhere on television. But then you don't give her the award. Why because somebody else went and performed there? These award functions, if they are giving, if they are nominating her then I believe that either actor should get paid for the nominations because all the publicity relies on it and the telecast of it but then someone else walks away with the award...It's not fair na?”

Interestingly, back in 2015, Katrina Kaif ad quipped that she will get married once she gets a National Award. Given how much their fans want for them to get back together, is this Salman’s way of speeding up the process?

Also, very recently Salman had declared that he does not want National Awards and only believes in rewards and that is confusing us a little. But hey, it is Salman Bhai, you don’t question him, you just go with what he says or does!
