Salman Khan To Work Alongside Aayush Sharma, Would Play A Cop Again In The Gangster Drama

Bhai fans have every reason to rejoice. While Shah Rukh Khan is yet to announce his next and Aamir is busy with Laal Singh Chaddha, Salman Khan has announced two upcoming films already and even wrapped up Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai which would hit the theatres on Eid this year. But that’s not all! Salman Khan would work alongside his brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma in his next, which would be a gangster drama.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the actor will play a cop in the film and what’s different is the fact that he would don a turban and a beard! Yes, he would play a Sikh cop. The report stated, “Salman has played cops before, but what excited him about this one is that he’s a Sikh cop. He will be growing a beard for real and wears a turban. He will undergo multiple look tests next week with his team.”

Aayush Sharma will play a north Indian gangster in the film. Salman wouldn’t get a chance to romance anyone in this film! The same source added, “his time around, there won’t be an actress opposite Salman. His is an honest, upright, no-nonsense cop on a mission. However, the hunt is on for a leading lady for Aayush, a gangster on the run. He will sport a rugged look and will bulk up for the role since Salman and he has several confrontations.”

Salman has already given his dates for the project, which is expected to wrap up by September, post which he will start work on Kabhie Eid, Kabhie Diwali with Farhad Samji. The yet untitled film would be directed by LoveYatri director, Abhiraj Minawala.
