Salman Khan Will Be Banned If He Works With Mika Singh, Threatens FWICE

More than his songs, Mika Singh remains in the news for all his deeds. Last week, he was seen singing and jumping around in ecstasy during a performance he had in Karachi. Post that, the singer was banned by All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) and the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). Mika, despite being aware of the growing Indo-Pak tension, especially with the removal of Article 370, decided to take the centre stage at the wedding festivities of former President of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf's daughter's billionaire cousin, hurting the sentiments of Indians.

In a strongly worded notice, AICWA and FWICE have asked everyone from the industry right from technicians to actors to stop associating with Mika in any way but seems Salman Khan is absolutely undeterred with quite in a fix with Mika being a part of his upcoming concert in Houston which was planned well in advance. For those unaware, Salman Khan’s brother Sohail Khan’s event management team has organised a 6-city gig across the US titled Up, Close and Personal With Salman Khan has been scheduled for next week. This has been done in association with Jordy Patel of JA Events in India and Bhavesh Patel in the US. Mika Singh is a part of the Houston show that is scheduled for August 28. Despite the notice of FWICE And AICWA, will Salman still show his blatant support and continue to make Mika part of the project and perform with him on the same stage?

When a leading daily got in touch with Jordy from the team understand the crux of the matter, he clearly mentioned that onstage Mika and Salman will not be interacting with each other. Quipped he, "We are only dealing with Bhavesh Patel as our contract is with him. Some local promoter in the US must have signed on Mika and added him to the line-up. Salman will have nothing to do with Mika at the event. They will not even interact on stage." When prodded about Mika promoting the concert details on social media, the spokesperson added, "Mika must be using Salman's name to promote himself, which everyone in the industry does."

When the general secretary at FWICE, Mr Ashok Dubey was contacted, he stated no matter how big or small the actor is, whoever is or will be working with Mika will be banned. He thundered, "If we impose a ban, it means all our technicians — including actors, directors, and even spot boys — will not work with Mika. If someone works with Mika during this ban, say Salman or anyone else, then he too will be banned. Whether it's an organiser from the US or any other country, we cannot stop anybody from conducting an event. Our policy is simple, we will not work with the person who has been banned."

Well, Today Mika Singh will be meeting the FWICE members and on this discussion will depend his association with the upcoming concert. We at Desimartini.com hope to find some sort of clarity on this issue post this meet up!
