Sam Bahadur: After Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra approached for the Vicky Kaushal starrer?

Sam Manekshaw's biopic has been on the pipeline for quite some time. The audience have been eagerly waiting for this one the moment they saw Vicky Kaushal's first look as Field Marshall. Recently reports had been doing the rounds that Fatima Sana Shaikh would join the cast of the film helmed by Meghna Gulzar. Now, the name of another star who has been approached for the film, titled Sam Bahadur has come up.

We are talking about Sanya Malhotra. According to a report in Pinkvilla, Sanya has been approached for a pivotal role in the film. A source was quoted saying, “Sanya’s role is extremely important to the script, and she has really liked her part. The makers are in an advanced stage of discussions.” This part is different from Fatima's part though.

Well, we wish she gives her nod, because Fatima and Sanya have created fireworks together in Dangal and Ludo before. We wonder what roles they are being offered. There has been no official confirmation of the same. Sam Bahadur is expected to go on floors from next year. Sanya has a lot of films in her kitty. She recently wrapped up Love Hostel and it is being said that she would be a part of Shah Rukh Khan's next with Atlee.
