Samantha Akkineni confirms separation from husband Naga Chaitanya after months of speculations, shares statement

For months now, rumours have been abuzz that south star Samantha Akkineni and husband Naga Chaitanya have parted ways and are headed for a divorce. Many a times, the Family Man 2 actress had even been asked about it, as was Naga Chaitanya. However, they had decided to maintain a dignified silence and some weeks back, Sam had even wished Chay luck for his new film amid the rumours. However, the actress now took to social media to confirm that they are indeed heading for a separation.

Taking to Instagram, Samantha shared her statement. It read, “To all our well wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths . We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans , well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on.” See the post here:

Well, the fairy-tale romance did come to an end, despite  wishing it wasn’t true. We hope that luck is with Naga Chaitanya and  with Samantha Akkineni, or rather Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the new road that they are embarking on. The duo had gotten married in 2017.
