Samantha Akkineni, Sanjay Gupta Blast Fake Reports About Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh Consuming Drugs

The Sushant Singh Rajput case has been blowing up ever since the drug probe has begun. Many drug dealers have been interrogated and arrested thereafter. WhatsApp chats between Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani have been retrieved and a drug nexus has been established and since then the NCB has also arrested Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik. 

A few days ago, Times Now reported that during a grilling session by the NCB, Rhea had taken names of Sara Ali Khan, Simone Khambatta, Rakul Preet Singh and had revealed that all the three did drugs with Sushant and her. The report further claimed that basis of Rhea’s revelation a list of 25 Bollywood names have been prepared by the NCB who would be called for interrogation. 

However, later the NCB deputy director rubbished the reports and termed them to be ‘fake’. He told Free Press Journal, “We have not prepared any Bollywood list. The list earlier prepared was of peddlers and traffickers. It’s getting confused with Bollywood. The names have not been zeroed upon.” Since then, many of Bollywood’s celebs have taken to their social media apologizing to Rakul and Sara. Some of them even demanded the media outlets to apologize for spreading fake news. 

Sophie Chowdry took to Twitter to share a screenshot of the report and wrote, “When do news channels plan to apologize to Rakul, Sara considering the NCB have given a statement that they have not been named by Rhea or anyone!! People work hard for their name & reputation. You have no right to destroy it for your TRPs!! Enough!! Fake news must be stopped!!”
