Sameera Reddy Calls Kareena Kapoor Khan Her Role Model For Breaking The Myth About Working Mothers

Sameera Reddy was blessed with a baby girl in July, the actress named her daughter Nyra, who is just three months old and has traveled to a lot of places, all thanks to her mom. Post her delivery, Sameera went on an adventurous trip to Karnataka. The actress climbed Mullayanagiri with her daughter tied to her front and then the little girl cried didn’t cry even for a moment.

In a recent interaction with Mumbai Mirror, Sameera shared her interesting experience stating that it was an educational trip and how her daughter enjoyed the whole journey. Sameera also talked about Kareena and praised her for being a hands-on loving mother

She said, "It was an educational trip for four-and-a-half-year-old Hans. We also went on a safari in Bhadra reserve so that he could see animals like tigers and peacocks, two of which he spotted right in front of the door. It was a special moment for him. Then, we went hiking and I decided to scale Karnataka’s highest peak. It’s something I was really excited about." 

The actress who suffered postpartum depression and sat at home for a year, the actress made sure she was active throughout her second pregnancy. She further added "I was confused, feeling low and crying all the time. Maybe it was the baby blues and I did not want to go down that road again. That’s why I have been up and about since the first day of this pregnancy. I was shooting till a day prior to Nyra’s birth."

On being asked if she found it difficult to travel with her little one Nyra, Sameera retorted, "My Nyra is an explorer, she was wide awake all the way, checking out everything. Not once did she cry and later she slept really well." Must say, Nyra is a strong girl!

Further, in interaction with the leading daily, Sameera also said that she found a role model in Kareena KapoorKhan, who also worked while she was pregnant. Praising Bebo for being a wonderful mother, she said, "She is such a hands-on loving mother and I respect her for breaking the myth that motherhood requires you to change your attitude with respect to your career."

Well, there is no doubt that both Kareena and Sameera are wonderful mothers to their adorable children.
