Sameera Reddy, Rajesh Khattar Test Positive For COVID-19, Latter Admitted To Hospital For Family's Safety

COVID cases are on the rise and the situation around the novel coronavirus is getting worse with each passing day. While common people are struggling with a shortage of beds in hospitals and the unavailability of oxygen cylinders, celebs too are not immune. They are contracting the disease as well. Now, two more celebs have tested positive for the virus- Sameera Reddy and Rajesh Khattar.

Sameera Reddy took to her social media to share the news. She wrote, “I tested covid positive yesterday”. She also added that her mother-in-law has tested negative and wrote, “We are safe and taking necessary precautions. Sassy Sassu by the grace of God has been living separately and is safe. We will be in home quarantine and will continue to be our positive upbeat selves. I know I have you lovely peeps to put a smile on my face. This is the time to be strong with positive affirmations. We are all in this together. Stay safe.”

Rajesh Khattar too has tested positive and for the safety of his family members, has admitted himself to a hospital. Taking to social media, he wrote, “Inspite of taking all the necessary precautions I was tested positive for Covid 19 in Delhi few days ago & was under home quarantine but due to my health condition also presence of elderly parents & an infant at home I was advised by Dr’s to shift to the hospital where I am recuperating well but need to stay hospitalised till I fully recover .. meanwhile I came across few speculative news in the press about my condition so just wanted to clarify that I am under medical care of expert doctors & should be back home soon. Several celebs like Neil Nitin Mukesh and his entire family, Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Manish Malhotra and Sumeet Vyas have tested positive in just the last two days while stars like Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif and Bhumi Pednekar have recovered.
