After Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise, a very different side of the industry has come into the spotlight. While star kids are constantly being trolled for having ‘an upper hand’ and are being accused of getting projects easily, many actors who do not belong to filmy families are opening up about their struggles. Well in her latest interview actress Sameera Reddy, who has worked in films such as Race, De Dana Dan, One Two Three and Taxi Number 9211, revealed her casting couch experience, a sad reality of the film industry.

In her chat with Pinkvilla, Sameera recalled one such incident and shared that she was doing a film and was suddenly told that a kissing scene has been added. But it wasn’t there before so she was not okay with doing it all of a sudden. She remembered, “The makers tried to reason with me saying, “You did it in Musafir”, and I was like but that doesn't mean I'll keep on doing it. He had then told me that please handle this with care but remember you are replaceable.”

Talking about another such incident, the actress revealed, “An actor had made a comment and said, “You are so unapproachable. He called me boring and said, 'You're no fun'. He also said, 'I don't know if I ever want to work with you again'. And I never worked with him after that film.” Sameera further stated that the whole game is like snakes and ladders and one needs to know how to move around the snakes and make way. The actress also shared that she would never party or hang out with the actors after shooting. She didn’t socialize, even though she knew that it helps in landing projects.
