Vidyut Jamwal is back in the action mode playing an MMA trainer in Sanak, his next film which is ready to release on Disney+ Hotstar later this month. The trailer for Sanak is out and the makers seem to have refreshingly decided to take a step back from the frills that decorate Bollywood action dramas like slow-motion shots and intense music to rely completely on Vidyut’s gifted action abilities in the film.

The story follows an MMA fighter Vivaan Ahuja, played by Jamwal, who becomes the only hope of a hospital under siege as while the authorities wait for a rescue operation helmed by Neha Dhupia to get in on the action. Vivaan is in the hospital for the surgery of his partner Anshika played by Rukmini Maitra when the place is taken over by terrorists who begin gunning down people in the hospital and take hostages.

Sanak trailer sees Vidyut as Vivaan goes on his own rescue mission to save his love Anshika among others and he battles the terrorists unarmed. He manages to kill nine of them flaunting some pretty impressive action choreography, which we are sure the film is packed with. From clinging to the ceiling like Spider-Man to breaking bones, Vidyut is the star of the show. The other characters seem to be simply accessories to the story at this point. What felt missing from the trailer though was the madness that the title promises but we hope that we get to see it unleashed in the film.
