Sandalwood Drug Case: CCB Searches Vivek Oberoi's Residence To Look For His Brother-In-Law Aditya Alva

Earlier today, Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi’s house was reportedly searched by the Central Crime Branch officials (CCB) in connection to a drug probe in the Kannada film Industry, that allegedly involved his brother-in-law Aditya Alva too.

According to a report by Times Now, CCB has searched Vivek Oberoi’s residence with an aim to find Aditya Alva, son of late minister Jeevaraj Alva, who has been absconding for weeks from the time CCB began to investigate the case. However, there is no confirmation from the CCB regarding the same. As per reports, the police had earlier searched Aditya Alva's resort where he used to organize weekend parties which were attended by many celebs from the Kannada film industry.

The Sandalwood drug case came into the spotlight during the time when NCB was investigating the alleged Bollywood drug nexus. Many prominent personalities including Kannada film actors Sanjjanaa Galrani, Ragini Dwivedi, Sparty organizer Viren Khanna, realtor Rahul Tonse among others are on the radar.

After police raided actors Ragini and Sanjana’s residence, both the actors have been arrested. The CCB arrested Ragini on September 4 whereas Sanjjanaa was arrested on September 8 after the raid. Not only these but actors Aindrita Ray and Diganth have also been interrogated by the police in connection with the alleged drug nexus.

Meanwhile, the NCB has reportedly arrested drug peddlers in Bengaluru who have been supplying drugs to Kannada actors and singers.
