    Sandalwood Drug Case: Vivek Oberoi's Wife Priyanka Receives Notice From CCB As They Continue Looking For Aditya Alva

    Recently, actor Vivek Oberoi‘s Mumbai residence was reportedly searched by the Central Crime Branch officials (CCB) in connection to a drug probe in the Kannada film Industry, that allegedly involved his brother-in-law Aditya Alva. Vivek’s wife Priyanka Alva was sent a notice by the crime branch in the Sandalwood drugs case after her brother, Aditya Alva has been missing. The lookout notice was issued around three weeks ago in the case.

    The notice was sent to Priyanka earlier today after CCB conducted a search at the actor’s house to look out for Aditya who has been absconding since September 4. News agency ANI confirmed the development in the case and tweeted, “City Crime Branch Bengaluru serves notice to Priyanka Alva Oberoi over links with brother Adithya Alva in connection with the Sandalwood drug case. #Karnataka CCB raided actor Vivek Oberoi’s Mumbai residence in search of his relative Aditya Alva in connection with the case.”

    Aditya Alva is the son of former Karnataka Chief Minister Jeevaraj Alva and is wanted as one of the 11 people in the Sandalwood drugs nexus. Apart from Aditya, many prominent personalities including Kannada film actors Sanjjanaa Galrani, Ragini Dwivedi, Sparty organizer Viren Khanna, realtor Rahul Tonse among others are on the radar. The CCB has made many arrests in the case including actors Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani who have been under judicial custody for over a month now. 

    As per reports, the police had earlier searched Aditya Alva's resort where he used to organize weekend parties which were attended by many celebs from the Kannada film industry. While the search for Aditya is still on, no official statement from the family has been issued in the case.
