    Two weeks ago, Sanjay Dutt was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after he complained of breathlessness and chest discomfort. He tested negative for COVID-19 but when doctors ran some more tests, his cancer analysis came positive. Fans were heartbroken to learn that Sanju baba was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and prayed for his well-being. Recently the actor’s wife Maanayata Dutt revealed that he will be completing his preliminary treatment in Mumbai.

    On August 18th, Sanju and Maanayata were snapped at Kokilaben hospital. According to the latest health update shared by a source, the actor will be returning home when his test reports are back. The source told Mumbai Mirror, “Despite knowing this will be a long and tough journey, they are determined to go about their lives as normally as possible, confident that this too shall pass. Right now, the preliminary tests are being conducted. So, Sanjay is not expected to be in the hospital for a long time. Once the reports are out, he will return home but hospital visits will be frequent.”

    Before taking a break from work for his treatment, Sanjay will be finishing the dubbing of his upcoming film Sadak 2, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur. A sequel to his 1991 film, the romantic thriller is scheduled to premiere on Disney+Hotstar on 28th August.
