Sanjay Gupta and Sanjay Dutt to collaborate after 14 years for Zinda sequel? Actor calls it 'false'

Reports had been doing the rounds that actor Sanjay Dutt and director Sanjay Gupta are all set to collaborate after 14 long years for the sequel of Zinda. Needless to say, this got everyone excited and we had been hoping that an announcement would be made soon. However, looks like that's not the case. Sanjay Dutt took to his social media to deny the report. He also called it a 'false' news.

Taking to his social media, he simply shared the news report and wrote 'false exclusive'. He further added, "When it’s all in place I am the first to proudly announce my next. This is not it!"

Well, while the audience had been excitedly waiting for something like this, it looks like the wait has to be longer. Sanjay Gupta made his directorial debut with Sanjay Dutt starrer Aatish: Feel The Fire in 1994, and since then they have worked together in eight films including Kaante, Zinda, and Shootout At Lokhandwala.The report had even stated that the film was to go on floors by September 2021 but has now been postponed. Sanjay Dutt will be seen in Ajay Devgn's Bhuj: The Pride of India, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Shamshera, Akshay Kumar's Prithviraj, and Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2.
