Sanjay Kapoor Reveals Daughter Shanaya's Bollywood Debut Has Been Delayed Due To The Pandemic

Another star kid seems to be ready for her Bollywood debut and we are talking about Sanjay Kapoor's daughter Shanaya Kapoor. The starlet recently made her way into Bollywood as an assistant director of Sharan Sharma's Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. She is also set for her acting debut and this has been revealed by none other than her father.

Talking to Zoom, Sanjay Kapoor said, "It has been delayed by the ongoing pandemic, but we are hopeful that it will happen very soon." He did not divulge any further details of the project.

Before the lockdown had happened, Shanaya could be spotted around town going fro her dance classes. It seemed like she was preparing for something and it might just be her preparation for her acting debut! When Gunjan Saxena released earlier this month, Sanjay Kapoor, like an excited father gave a shoutout to his daughter for her work in the film. Sharing a post on his social media, he wrote, "I am so glad that Shanaya started her journey in this beautiful world of movies as an assistant director with you @sharansharma , You are an Extremely talented director and A super human being too , loved #gunjansaxena , looking forward to your next ! #gunjansaxena streaming now on #netflix"
