Sanjay Leela Bhansali To Revive Inshallah With A New Leading Man And Alia Bhatt? Here's What We Know

Sanjay Leela Bhansali surely knows how to exude grandeur with his films, and that is probably the reason why audiences get super excited every time he announces a new film. But one which had gotten us pumped was Inshallah. The fact that he would collaborate with Salman Khan after Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam was enough to make fans lose their minds. Unfortunately, the film did not happen and was shelved indefinitely. Bhansali moved on to make Gangubai Kathiawadi with Alia Bhatt, who was to be paired opposite Salman in the film. But now, we hear that the film might be revived.

Yes, you read that right. According to the latest report in Bollywood Hungama, Bhansali is planning to revive Inshallah. But, even though Alia would be a part, he is looking for a new male lead. A source said, “It is a beautiful simple timeless love story. Sanjay still wants to make it with Alia and a different leading man.” 

In fact, Bhansali would be casting a 50+ A-lister for the role. Is SRK the choice. The same source revealed, “But Shah Rukh Khan has already done a film – Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi — with Alia. So the novelty of seeing the two generation-challenged superstars exchanging emotions is gone. But who knows! It may be SRK only. The important thing is to make Inshallah exactly the way SLB had envisaged it. And he will.”
