Sanki: Varun Dhawan To Work With Kesari Director Anurag Singh For This Action Flick?
Varun's Sanki To Be Directed By Anurag Singh?
Varun Dhawan might have been chilling in the Maldives just some days back, but his schedule is going to be pretty hectic real soon. He would be starting shoot for four films back to back. Amongst these would be Sanki, an action film where he would be working with Sajid Nadiadwala. Not much was known about it, but it looks like the director of the film has been zeroed in.
If a report in Bollywood Hungama is to be believed, then Akshay Kumar's Kesari director Anurag Singh might be helming the project. A source said, “Kesari was a very successful film and it got Anurag Singh noticed. He has already made a mark with some very entertaining films in Punjabi cinema and Kesari’s success gave a boost to his career. He was offered several films and finally he decided to come on board for Sanki. He knows the pulse of the audience and hence the team of the film feel he’ll be the right person to helm the subject of Sanki.”
It is also being said that the film will be a remake of a south film. Well, it would be interesting to see Varun in the action hero avatar with this one. Apart from this, he will be seen in Raj Mehta's Jug Jug Jiyyo, Amar Kaushik's Bhediya and Sriram Raghavan's Ekkis.
