Sara Ali Khan Calls Coolie No. 1 Co-Star Varun Dhawan ‘One Of Her Favorites’; Reveals What She Likes About Him

Shooting of many upcoming projects has been stalled due to the coronavirus lockdown, whereas release dates of much-awaited films have been postponed indefinitely. David Dhawan’s Coolie No. 1, a remake of the 1995 comedy, is one such film which was affected by the outbreak of COVID-19. Featuring the gorgeous Sara Ali Khan and the very handsome Varun Dhawan, Coolie No. 1 was slated to hit theatres on 1^st May, but it could not release as the lockdown was extended.

In a recent chat with Bollywood Hungama, Sara opened up about her experience of working with one of the most talented actors of Bollywood. She shared, “I had an absolute blast working with Varun. Firstly I think that he knows his job so so well and he's fully focused at that, which I think is of prime importance when you’re on a film set. That aside I think that he is very very supportive as a co-actor. He’s superbly friendly, he’s a lot of fun. I think I’ve had one of my best experiences so far working with Varun.”

The actress went on to share that she really admires that Varun knows how to be professional and gives work the importance that it needs. But he’s also a really fun person and maybe one of the only people that Sara has worked with who she can actually hang out with as well. “He’s definitely one of my favorites,” Sara concluded.
