    Shah Rukh Khan has been detained at the U.S. airport more than once and the first time it happened back in 2009 it certainly sparked a lot of anger mixed with concern. The Bollywood superstar my have learnt to make light of the situation now and jokes about it now and then but the incident gave birth to larger concerns. Now, Love Aaj Kal actress Sara Ali Khan opened up about her tryst with the U.S. airport authorities but for entirely different reasons.

    The actress during an interview with East India Comedy mentioned how she has faced issues at airports especially in the U.S. because her surname  ‘Sultan’ on the passport and also because of the age-old picture that is on it. The actress said that it usually takes the authorities a little while before they are able to put it together.

    Sara told EIC, “You know what happens is, because I was 96 kgs when I did my ID card picture, there’s a bit of a problem. Because they are like, ‘What?’ and then they put it together. Especially in America.”

    The actress who completed her higher education in New York frequently visits the U.S. to be with her friends. She further explained the problems she’s had to face with the U.S. airport authorities and said that because her student visa is different from her regular visa there is further confusion, and said that the staff usually reacts like ‘What is going on? This is a bit shady.’ “My surname is Sultan and it is America, so you can just imagine,” the actress added.

    After this Sara refrained from digging deeper into the issue joking that she doesn’t want to get banned from the country.
