    Actor Vicky Kaushal and director Aditya Dhar not only won hearts with their 2019 super hit film Uri: The Surgical Strike, but also bagged National Awards for Best Actor and Best Direction. Well, the dynamic duo is all set to blow us away once again with their next project, titled The Immortal Ashwatthama. According to Mahabharata, Ashwatthama was the son of guru Dronacharya. The film is all set to go on floors in April 2021, and latest reports suggest that Sara Ali Khan has been roped in to play the female lead.

    In a report shared by Mumbai Mirror, a source close to the development was quoted saying, “It will be shot over a span of 80-90 days at multiple locations in india and abroad in countries such as Greece, New Zealand, Japan, and Namibia, with plenty of time devoted to post-production as it will have a lot of visual effects for which Aditya has been collaborating with studios in the West.” The source further revealed, “Sara's character has an interesting mythological arc to it. She is expected to sign within a fortnight and will start prepping from early next year.”

    Meanwhile, Sara is busy gearing up for the release of her much-awaited comedy Coolie No. 1, co-starring the very handsome and talented Varun Dhawan. The film is a remake of David Dhawan’s 1995 super hit and is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on Christmas.
