Don’t we all have that one friend who gets super excited every time we start talking with someone new and can’t wait for us to go on a date? Well, for Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan almost the entire country became that friend. Ever since Sara declared her will to go on a date with Kartik on Koffee With Karan, it has kind of been the only agenda of their fans.

Thus, you can imagine our excitement when these two finally went on that much-awaited date after wrapping their shooting schedule in Delhi for Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal. But just like most awaited dates in life, it looks like things did not go as planned with the two and honestly, it looked like it sucked. Don’t believe us? Here is proof!

Fans Kept Bugging

Forget a romantic date, how is it possible to even have a decent conversation when people keep bugging you for a picture? Looks like the same fans who so badly wanted this date became a deterrent by constantly asking them for pictures.

No Food On Table

Well, I know the food is not the primary goal on a date, but still its important, right? Especially for a self-proclaimed foodie like Sara, we simply do not understand why there is no food on the table.

Not Dressed For A Date

We love Kartik in just about anything and Sara has made white salwar kurtas the hottest trend, but couldn’t they have put some effort in dressing for this much-awaited date? I mean these are two incredibly gorgeous Bollywood stars, they surely could have done better than white salwar kurta and a sweatshirt.

We Expected Something More Romantic

Honestly, maybe our high expectations is the culprit, but we are disappointed. For a date that became almost a national agenda, we were expecting some hearts and flowers and maybe some background music. Ummm…yes we are probably getting a little too carried away, but they could have done better than just a candlelight dinner.  Just look at the picture, that chemistry deserved a better date!
