    Satish Kaushik Appreciates Paresh Rawal For Completing Rishi Kapoor's Last Film Sharmaji Namkeen As They Shoot Together

    Late actor Rishi Kapoor’s last Bollywood film Sharmaji Namkeen is now being completed by actor Paresh Rawal. The makers who dedicated the film to the late actor and vouched to complete the unfinished film are now shooting for the project in Delhi.

    Actors Satish Kaushik and Paresh Rawal have been filming the remaining portions of Sharmaji Namkeen in Subhash Nagar Delhi. On Friday Satish tweeted in appreciation for Paresh who stepped in to Rishi Kapoor’s shoes for the film and is helping wrap up the project.

    In his tweet, Satish Kaushik wrote, “Sharmaji Namkeen dedicated to Rishiji. His last film as an actor. Great of @SirPareshRawal to take on charge to play his role now. It is a great tribute paid to an actor by an actor. We miss u Chintuji.”

    The film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar is expected to arrive in theatres this year itself. It marks the directorial debut of Hitesh Bhatia and also stars Juhi Chawla. The movie is said to be is a light-hearted coming-of-age story about a lovable 60-year-old man.

    The makers want to showcase Sharmaji Namkeen in theatres on Rashi Kapoor’s birthday on September 4. The actor passed away in Mumbai after a two year long battle with cancer in Mumbai last year.
